After getting a couple of estimates from electricians, Lee came out to assess our electrical issues. He diagnosed our problems, solved them, and offered some advice of what we needed to do instead of having someone come in and overcharge us for unnecessary solutions. He saved us from spending over $200 in work as estimated by others. He worked on and educated us for free on grounding a circuit that others would bill for. Lee is a very honest, trusting, practical, and friendly businessman. He is especially appreciative of helping out his military clients. They are not kidding when they say they are available 24/7. I called Lee with a non-electrical concern last night which he not only helped me with over the phone, he came by early this morning to investigate further and make recommendations on what needed to be done to ensure the problem didn’t happen again.
He did this after meeting me only once – to have a fixture replaced and provide an estimate for other work I wanted to be done (happening on Friday). While he was there, he walked through my newly purchased (but old) home and noted other items, non-electrical, which as an experienced contractor and engineer, he could see needed to be repaired or checked. For example, he noticed that an outdoor faucet didn’t have a shutoff valve, and mentioned that if a landscaper hit a pipe, the yard would be flooded, and the only way to stop that would be to shut off water for the entire house. A shut off valve on the outside faucet would allow water to still be used inside while any outdoor pipes were repaired.
And this was confirmed by the plumber who came later that day to fix an indoor leak. What I really like about Lee is that he is proactive, not reactive. He takes the time to check everything and to not only let you know of any potential problems but explain why there’s a potential problem and he does so in a way even the non-DIY person can understand. He’s very nice too!
