Mountain View Park is a 4.5-acre land located at Parkway Drive off Howe Street. It has many features such as a play area, basketball court, baseball field, picnic area with multipurpose space, and restrooms. They have a first come first serve basis in all picnic areas.
This small park is nestled in a peaceful neighborhood. It is great for youth, because it has a baby park area for babies and a bigger playground for adults. There are swings for large children and babies alike. There are also a few picnic-banks. A short distance way is a baseball field for a family ball game that would be interesting.
People can observe a decent size grass field with a play system on both sides. Children can ride bikes, jump, drive, climb and scream. There are two different grounds for games. One for the small, and one for the middle and the high. It’s great when one kid is getting soccer practice and the other is not. This park also features a baseball field fenced, a basketball court, a picnic area (3-4 grill tables) and toilets.
The park was totally redone. It is so much more fun, healthier and at the same time easier to keep track of multiple ages. Mountain View Park offers a perfect neighbourhood park for everyone.
