The area itself is very attractive. Trees are all around and it is pretty quiet when there are a few people or nobody around. The place is always clean and you don’t see weird people hanging around. There is also a baseball field in the park which always looks good. Just about 8 parking spaces are open, and the rest of the car park is on the street. Generally the park is full when there are baseball games but it’s still not over crowded-which is always good, particularly for parents who have children.
The place is a good, clean park with plenty of space for playing around, tossing a ball or collecting acorns. Compared to other parks, the play structures are special but certainly best suited to children 3 and up, and need good coordination. People will enjoy its overall look like rubber and cement walls, playground for different ages and great visibility. The region is spacious with picnic areas for picnic-goers, some covered. There is a water / bathroom pool, basketball courts, and expansive lawn areas.
If you regularly visit the place, there are a lot of things you would be coming for like wide grassy fields, enclosed places for parties and events, a few tennis courts with lights, a ball field that is also perfect for your dog to play fetch! The children’s areas have been revamped and all the swings, climbers and slides feature soft bounce rubber mats beneath. Recently, the toilets were improved too.
Nancy Boyd Park is a perfect place for families and babies to relax.
